While I've been in practice 25 years, my interest in bodywork and energywork surfaced when I was nine years old. At that point, I realized I wanted to teach and heal. I had no idea what that journey would entail or where it would lead me. It started with massage for family and friends before I had any formal training. The next part of my healing path was my study of metaphysics and other spiritual practices.
I graduated from IPSB in San Diego — the Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing, now known as International Professional School of Bodywork — as a massage therapist. I became certified by theTrager Institute in Mill Valley, California, in the Trager psychophysical integration approach to Bodywork and Mentastics Movement Education. I received certification in Acupressure by the Mendocino Institute in Mendocino/Fort Bragg, California. I became a Reiki Master Practicioner and Teacher under the auspices of Joy Metcalfe's Sacred Touch Reiki in Sebastopol, California. My Medical Qi Gong training came under Sean Fannin of Center for Traditional Health Arts in Petaluma, California.
I have established private practices over the years in San Diego, Mendocino, Santa Rosa, California and currently in Wake Forest, North Carolina. |
