It’s a reflective time. The end of the year is approaching. Another year gone, another birthday coming up. A good time to ask, how did I live my life this year?

If judgment or harshness is our response, we can be willing to shift to kindness and compassion. There is no wasted life, no wasted year, no wasted experience. Everything that came before flows into who we are in the present. We are the perfect sum total of each previous moment. If we did not live and experience everything just as we did, we wouldn’t be aware or wise enough to ask, what do I love about myself? What do I want to change? What different choices will I make now?

And always, no matter what, we can be willing to know we are all lovable. We are all precious beings, just as we are. We are Love, first and foremost, even if we forget.
