Hon Sha Za Sho Nen (a Reiki greeting meaning, the Divine within me recognizes the Divine within you)….
So the eclipse is over, we are in the last week of Mercury Retrograde….and it seems there is no end to our individual and collective crises, issues, old patterns….in my case, since August 2, one family member has experienced a broken elbow and 5 days in ICU, surgery, and the healing that needs to happen over the next 3 months. I’ve heard of people losing their jobs, needing major surgery, loved ones going into nursing homes, car accidents….and all the usual day to day challenges.
And people have recovered from major unexpected surgery and gone back to work, caregivers are finally being given respite, art spaces are being created to be filled with joyous creating of new art,  jobs are found, people are falling in love with new grandchildren, our energy is finally restored.
It’s all energy, so it all changes, eventually, no matter how dire things seem. And since life only moves toward the Good, it truly is all is moving toward more good, no matter what it looks like. And it’s all a mystery, we never know what’s around the corner. I love this essay by Jack Kornfield about this and the value of staying present.
So what do we do with all this, with life? What do we do with life that is happening while we are in the midst of making other plans? We just show up, every day. Every day we say, so this is what’s happening today! And we are willing to feel, bit by bit, gossamer wing by gossamer wing, what we may not see but what we trust, that we are connected to all that is Love, all is completely taken care of already, all is well….and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds, always for our highest good.
